Rates of Change

Pretend you are walking to the store and you want 6 apples. 6 apples cost 3 dollars. But when you get to the store you only have 2 dollars. We can solve this using rates of change.

I know that two out of three is 2/3. I also know that 2/3 of 6 is 4/6.

So that means I can buy 4 apples instead of 6 apples.

I hope you found this helpful. (^_^)
